Emotion Theory
● It is a theory that there are different types of people.
● There's a personality that overlaps with an emotion.
● It has certain predicted outcomes for people who follow one camp versus another.
Types of Aspect
● Positive Aspect
○ It reflects the degree to which a person feels enthusiastic, active working, and
high pay constitutes a state of high energy.
○ It is the full concentration of pleasurable engagement, whereas low pay is
marked by sadness and lethargy.
○ It is part of any treatment plan.
● Negative Aspect
○ It is a general concern of subjective distress and subsumes.
○ It is a variety of aversive states, including content, disgust, guilt, fear,
nervousness, and associated with calmness and serenity.
○ It is related to stress and poor coping health in place of the frequency of
unpleasant events.
Four types of Emotion
● Arousal
○ It is not interpreted positively.
○ It leads to physiological sensations.
○ It is a conscious awareness of physiology.
● Physiological
○ It relates to how a living organism or bodily part functions.
○ It is linked to the brain.
● Neurological
○ It is an activity within the brain that leads to emotional responses.
● Cognitive
○ It doesn't involve two factors having the physiology of making believe.
○ It has this cognitive label and then it leads to heart problems.
James Lange Theory
● It is the most explored explanatory of the facial feedback hypothesis or the sign of
others.
● This theory is a unique finding that facial expressions are capable of influencing
emotions
