The impact of technology on the global community:

technology allows us to cut across geographical boundaries and time

 Benefit: new entrepreneurial opportunities and jobs created by the IT
sector.
 Harm: Job losses and unemployment occur because of computerised
automation.

 Benefit: ITC improves access to information and resources
