Operations management is concerned with efficiently managing the resources in order to deliver (ultimately) products and services that fit within the enterprise strategy. Using the 4Ds of Operations Management (Direct, Design, Deliver and Develop), the student learns to analyze, develop and apply different types of processes and strategies, know the role of innovation and implement improvements. Professional Practice Every company (and every function) has to do with processes. In a dynamic world where everything is in motion, constantly questioning the processes at various levels inside (and outside) the organization where people work is a must. The course of operations management gives the student the tools to analyse, develop and, where necessary, improve the processes within his organization in a structured manner so that the organization becomes or remains competitive through the efficient use of the resources.
