knowledge work by helping nurses to collect data, see trends, process
information, and create knowledge that can be used to create wisdom, but
nurses need to understand the processes that allow this to happen as well
as the tools that Health information technology (HIT) offers them

convert those data into information, and information into new knowledge—
that is, an understanding of which interventions are appropriate in
