Introduction: Wedding
It is crucial that you have those skills and abilities to defeat the
extremely competitive atmosphere in order to effectively handle the
case. In this task, I will discuss in depth the concepts and skills required
in order to manage an event effectively.
P1. explain the role and skills required to be an effective events
planner.
The role of event planner
The role of a wedding planner involves every part of the day, from the
clothes and flowers, through to places for celebrations and receptions,
to food, drink and entertainment.
Organizational skills:
To plan an event effectively, it is crucial to know how to literally run the
business with any event manager. There is a lot to prepare and
coordinate an event because any single aspect must be accurate and
mastered. It would result in a fantastic event if they were perfected,
and every aspect has been considered. If the organizer of the event
could not plan activities or programmer, however, it might easily
become chaos which cannot be controlled. In addition to being a team
leader and a team worker, it is important for us to perfect every detail
in the organisation of this event, which means that we handle and
communicate well with hundreds of people. A well-organized team
therefore works effectively and gets work roles done more rapidly with
fewer problems.

This ability is very important as companies expect members to
complete their work or projects before the deadline. Every task the
company offers is always efficient for an organiser to complete with the
highest efficiency before the deadline. This isn't easy, since many
projects must be carried out before time, so time management is
essential to a successful organiser of events. But if time management
fails through skipping deadlines, it can give the organisation and the
entire team a bad reputation.
Communication with good interpersonal skills:
The most effective promoters of activities are polite people who can
talk verbally and write. This is important since this is a significant
leading position in staying in touch with and carrying out many
activities. Communication skills are essential to building an effective
event, as ideas need to be accurately articulated and ensuring that the
team completely knows the tasks and can do them in good time. It will
be by deciding on the scale of the whole place that the team wants to
run smoothly. Therefore, if there are any disagreements in the team,
they are the pioneers of an event manager. They require excellent
coordination, a relational one and a strong heart to overcome it equally
to remain a successful workforce. So, a great event manager is a strong
team member in general and can collaborate with all sorts of people.
Budget Control:
The estimation of costs and the possible advantages of running an
event is critical for an organiser of an event. It is also necessary to
create a budget, since the bulk of the funds will be earned and if the
event organiser cannot stay under the budget, it will not only impact
benefit, but also trigger a significant loss.
Problem Solving:

Problem solving is important for an event organiser in solving any
problems or problems which need to be resolved quickly in the final
minute. The organiser of the event must therefore also deal with
conflicts of the participants and do so calmly and fairly. The company in
which they operate can have many issues that can go wrong and can
affect the event, such as the sound device that may not work properly.
The event organiser will have to face future problems and must be
ready for any problems that can affect the event. Planning is therefore
essential.
Planning Skills:
It is important for Event planners to build well detailed plans consisting
of plan B too in case if plan A doesn’t perform or it runs into the last-
minute problems. All the steps required to succeed should be taken to
do this. All this can be taken into account and nothing will be forgotten.
It does not focus only on events when it comes to planning, but also
concentrates on external factors such as weather, traffic etc. This is
particularly important if the event is open to the public, so that the
event organiser must look at the weather forecast and see the
conditions for the event. You must also ensure that the plan is changed
if the external factors change, so that you have to prepare all changes.
Communication:
The coordinator of the event is expected to regularly contact its
employees to ensure that any job is carried out prior to the deadline
and all the misunderstandings or disputes are resolved. Communication
with buyers and agreements with vendors and owners are also
important as this helps establish a partnership. This is beneficial for the
corporation to procure supplies and goods at a reduced cost.
