INTRODUCTION Paul (37 years old) and Mary (35 years old) have been married for 10 years. They have a son, Simon (9 years old) who is doing well in school academically as well as in sport. Mary suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to Simon therefore Paul had to assume the responsibility of taking care of their son. When Mary recovered from her depression, Paul began spending weekends away from home cycling. This caused problems between the couple and caused them to approach a psychologist to assist with Simon’s behavior and anxiety development. This portfolio will look at the family’s ecomap and family dynamics as well as discuss developmental frameworks relevant to the family.
