, Introduction
In this project, I will look at the foundations of decision-making and see how data modeling can be used
to analyze outcomes as well as decide a specific result. Consequently, this could assist me in developing
a range of tools including strategies required to build comprehensive spreadsheets, which I would be
able to generate reliable data which might aid in decision-making. As a result, I will go through the
phases of the decision cycle, as well as other topics like spreadsheet functionality, potential
considerations, evaluation metrics, including the need to establish evidence and justifications regarding
the models.
Scenario
I have recently joined the a company that has recently been open in London as trainee data analyst. My
employers specializes in the range of cheese where they import the cheese to countries within Europe
especially in France as well as Netherlands including various restaurants throughout the UK . The
company has problems related to the currency fluctuations. I have been asked by my employers to
predict future sales as well as create a report on the different ways spreadsheets could be used.
Identifying information and sources
I'll define the kind of data I'll require as well as where it'll emerge from within this section of the
decision-making method. In addition, I will check to see if the data I have is accurate.
Often, most of the data I require is currently included within the scenario, thus I should remain
undertaking all of the steps necessary to create a good data model free of flaws or irregularities.
An example of identifying information:
This instance shows how to build a table containing data by using one of the tools mentioned
beforehand to help correctly define details. This might well support me because each piece of
information will be entered under the appropriate heading, as shown above which begins with cells "B3
to E5". As a result, by having a relevant spreadsheet data model, every user can understand what data is
being displayed.
