Introduction
Embarking on your university career can be daunting and it’s easy to fall prey to plagiarism. However
the best way of avoid plagiarising is to learn and apply ethics of virtuous academic practice from the
beginning of your university career. Making sure your references are all correct, or changing enough
words in order to paraphrase is tempting. Avoid plagiarism by finding practical ways to avoid
academic dishonesty and use your academic skills to make a good presentation.

Auto-plagiarism is assessments compiled and completed by oneself (partially or in
full) whether for your current module or for another qualification and or other
university you previously were a student of; unless it is a requirement in the special
