Business Name: Grill and Dine
SECTION A: REFLECTION ON ASSESSMENT 2 (20 MARKS)
QUESTION 1: REFLECTION ON THE GROUP ASSESSMENT PROJECT
1. Personal Contribution to the Project
My contribution to the group assessment project involved sharing ideas, participating in
discussions and assisting with the development of the proposed business concept. I
contributed by considering the needs of potential customers, identifying possible products or
services and discussing ways in which the business could operate successfully. I also
recognised the importance of listening to other group members and considering their
suggestions when making decisions. The project helped me understand that entrepreneurship
requires planning, cooperation and commitment. Each member has a responsibility to
contribute towards achieving the group's objectives.
2. Challenges Experienced During the Project
One of the challenges experienced during the project was managing different opinions and
ideas among group members. Each person could have a different understanding of how the
proposed business should operate, which sometimes required additional discussion before
reaching an agreement. Time management and the division of responsibilities were also
important because the group needed to complete the project within the available time. These
challenges taught me that effective communication, patience and proper planning are
necessary for successful teamwork. Disagreements can also create opportunities to consider
alternative solutions when group members respect one another.
