Question 1:
1.1. Integration of vocabulary with the rest of the lesson:
Let learners participate in various vocabulary activities, such as cross word
puzzles, competitions, and quizzes.
Have words occur frequently during the lesson, because if the learners hear the
words a lot, they will be able to understand them as well.
The words must also relate to the topic that is being discussed in the lesson.
Ask the learners questions about the word to see if they understand it and can
use it in certain contexts.
Encourage these learners to use the new words that they have learned outside of
the classroom as well.

Encourage learners to read and write more:
New words are learnt when they are read and wrote. Learners cannot study long
lists of vocabulary every day, they have to make use of the words physically in
order to learn the word.
Give learners specific words to study when you are teaching a specific theme,
and then with the next theme give them new words again, etc.
Do not expect learners to know the meanings of all these words by heart, if they
did not have the time or experience to use these words when they speak and
write.

Teach vocabulary in certain contexts:
The learner can only learn a new word if it is shown to him or her how the words
are used in certain contexts. One of the most efficient ways of teaching
vocabulary is to have learners learn new words from stories or texts that they are
busy with. This way they will be able to see for themselves how these words are
used in certain contexts.
But do keep in mind that the vocabulary must not come across as more important
than the story as a whole.
Sometimes it works good when you teach the new words to the learners before
they read the story.
