Mr. Craig Harris is an 81-year-old male, who resides in a nursing
home, presented to the office today with the following complaints:
hesitancy in starting a urinary stream, decreased force of the urinary
stream, post void dribbling, nocturia and left lower quadrant abdominal pain
for the past month. He also has been experiencing constipation with his last
BM: one week ago, and he doesn’t feel like his bladder is emptying with
each urination.

abdominal pain and constipation.

Magnesium Hydroxide 400mg/5 ml: 30 to 60 ml po as needed for
constipation, Acetaminophen 325 mg q 6 hours po two tabs PRN for
mild pain, Tramadol 50 mg po q 6 hours PRN for moderate pain,
Diphenhydramine 25 mg po q6 hours prn for allergic reaction or
insomnia.
History: Hypertension and general arthritis.
