BROKER
- Licensed producer who represents the insured for compensation
Insurance Producer - ANS--Person required to be licensed to sell, solicit, or negotiate
insurance contracts or annuities
-Insurance agent, insurance broker, and insurance consultant may be used
interchangeable with insurance producer
Limited Producer - ANS-Authorized by Insurance commissioner to sell, solicit, or
negotiate limited lines insurance
- Credit insurance
- life Insurance or annuity products used solely to fund a pre-arranged funeral program
- Travel and accident insurance
- Any other limited lines permitted under state laws
Surplus Lines Broker - ANS--Individual, partnership or corporation

other designee if a producer dies, becomes disabled, or enters active military service
