Electricity
Electricity is a form of energy produced by the movement of electrons. Almost
everything runs on electricity. A dry cell is a source of electricity but a battery is
a combination of two or more dry cells.

Electric Bulb
Ann electric bulb has a electric contact at the bottom, a glass mount, support
wires, Inert Gas (A gas which does not react) and Filament. The filament is
made of tungsten, and it produces so much heat that it starts to glow.
Tungsten is used to make the filament of the bulb as tungsten has a very high
melting point.

Dry Cell
A dry cell has two terminals, the positive and the negative terminal. Zinc makes
up the negative terminal and A carbon rod is used to make the positive
terminal. A dry cell has ammonium chloride paste, A carbon rod with a metal
cap, powdered manganese and carbon anda large zinc container. A dry cell is
used in multiple objects such as toys and remotes. A dry cell has advantages
such as
- It is very easy to use
- Easy to carry
- Safe to use unless opened
A dry cell stops working when all the chemicals run out and there is no flow of
electrons. A dry cell that can’t be recharged is known as a primary cell (dry cell)
Electric Current
An electric current is the flow of electricity. Electrons move from the negative
to the positive terminal. The flow of electricity moves in the opposite direction.
An open circuit is a circuit that does not provide a complete path for the flow
of electricity. A closed circuit provides a complete path for the flow of
electrons. An electric Circuit provides a path for the electricity to flow in. The
components are
