Obtaining the most out of the work colleagues is a crucial management role. Influential

leaders can motivate those they work with to work in a particular, goal-directed manner. The

term motivation in management refers to strengthening, directing, and supporting employees’

efforts (Western, 2019). Therefore, this paper aims to discuss the following components: first,

develop a brief motivation profile for each staff member. Second, correlate motivational theories

to this real-world scenario. Further to this, summarize leadership policies connected with such

features as work-life phases, anticipated reactions to rewards and punishments, and the degree to

which supporters feel they suitable the perfect motivation mold of public sector employees and

finally reflect how not being mindful of appropriate leadership policies can be risky to

organizations.

Melanie has been within the organization for close to 10 years and enjoys her job;

therefore, she would make a great trainer for new employees such as Tom. It would be

significant to arrange for a proper mentorship program or develop new employee training

workshops. This prevents her from using much of her day surfing social media sites. Employ

training, seminars, or refresher courses to motivate Melanie and expose her to updated methods

or thoughts. This is to minimize the complaints that she does not have any person to “admire”
