Answer: select the Lightbulb to turn off highlights for all terms within
the set

Answer: click a term and use the H icons to only navigate between that

Answer: any dtSearch terms run will display in this list and highlight in

Answer: You can use these operators to connect multiple phrases or
terms in a single search expression. (And, or, not). These are not actual
search terms.
●● Fuzzy searching
Answer: You can perform fuzzy searches, which return documents
containing spelling variations of a specified term.You may want to use
fuzzy searching when querying documents that contain misspelled
terms, typographical errors, or you have scanned with Optical Character
Recognition (OCR).
●● Stemming
Answer: You can perform stemming searches using a tilde (~), which
return documents containing grammatical variations of a root word.
Stemming is limited to English only. For example, a search on apply~
returns documents containing the words apply, applying, applies, and
applied.
●● Wildcards
Answer: *: Operates as a stand-in for one or many characters
, ?: Operates as a substitute for a character
=: matches any single digit
Ex: appl*- matches application, apple, etc; appl?-matches apply and
apple but not apples; =th- matches 4th, 5th, so on
●● Proximity operators
Answer: W/n: Returns documents when two words or phrases occur
within a certain proximity of each other. When using Boolean operators
in a proximity search with the W/N operator, dtSearch includes noise
words.
PRE/n: Searches for a word that appears within a certain number of
words before another word. For example, the search string apple PRE/5
pear returns documents where apple appears within five words before
pear.
●● Mass edit
Answer: You can use the mass edit operation to modify fields and coding
values for multiple documents or objects at the same time. You can use
any layout that you have rights to. Mass edit is available from the mass
operations bar.
