Answer: John Watson is known as the "Father of Behaviorism", he
believed objective analysis of mind was impossible; and we should only

Answer: Watson believed phobias could be created consciously, he
designed an experiment using the conditioning technique discovered by

when Little Albert saw a rabbit. Eventually Little Albert associated
consciously that the rabbit meant the loud sound, and even when the
rabbit was presented without the sound Little Albert would start to cry.


Freud believed that phobia's were the result of unconscious conflicts.

Answer: Skinner concentrated on how behavior was affected by its
consequences(reinforcement, or punishment). In other words he was
focused on how to manipulate behavior by manipulating the
consequences of it.

his work set the ground floor for?
Answer: Max Wertheimer was one of three founding fathers of Gestalt
Psychology. Gestalt Psychology Whole Psychology is the study of an
individuals sensations, and perceptions. Ideas of Gestalt continue to
influence research on sensation and perception, as well as humanistic
psychology.

similar and different?
Answer: Humanistic psychologists believe that people shape their
personalities through free choice and action.


Sociocultural psychologists focus on the roles of ethnicity, gender, and
culture in personality formation.
