According to Newton, not only does the Earth attract an apple or the Moon,
but every object attracts every other object in the universe with this force.
Every object in the universe attracts every other object with a force:
Directly proportional to the product of their masses.
Universal Law of
Gravitation (G) Inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
The force acts along the line joining the centres of the two objects.
