TEST PREP, SCENARIO-BASED QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Casper test practice questions

Scenario 1
1. Schoolyard bullying occurs face to face whereas cyberbullying occurs over social media
(ex. Instagram comments). Schoolyard bulling also may include more physical harm
such as kicking or punching whereas cyber bullying inflicts emotional harm such as
threats and putting others down.
2. I would first ask the friend why she had done these things in a private conversation away
from Brittany. I would be sure to be non-judgmental and non-confrontational about this.
She may not have known how upset Brittany was or even that Brittany found out. I
would also try to have a private conversation with Brittany’s boyfriend to help ease the
possible tension. I would let him know that Brittany had not known these were going to
be posted as well as the fact she had been on a family dinner. If this conversation had
gone well I would then try to get Brittany and her boyfriend to talk about the situation at
hand as well as get the other friend to apologize for the confusion. Lastly, I’d want to
make sure Brittany was okay and make sure she knew that she had a reliable friend to
help her deal with this problem.
3. Some strategies include seeing help from others such as school counsellors or parents,
noticing when peoples, mood became off, and be conscious and aware of what was
being posted and what I am posting myself on social media.

Scenario 2
1. I think the 3 most important skills listed above are communication, collaboration, and
problem solving. These 3 qualities are important when working with others since that
is how most workplaces run. A team must collaborate to perform tasks and reach goals.
Communication is essential to discuss problems areas and how to improve problems.
Profession environments often run into problems therefore problem solving is key for
success.
2. The 3 least important skills I have selected are empathy, motivation, and self-awareness.
These I believe are important for thriving in a professional environment however, they
are more intrinsically motivated whereas the other qualities listed were more group
based. In a group it is important to be self-aware, motivated, and empathetic but there
are other group members to which you can rely on to provide these qualities in case one
particular day you aren’t motivated or as empathetic as usual.
3. I work as a server in a bar, and I recall one evening having a difficult customer. She was
expressing her disappointment with her food. I listened while providing ques that I cared
such as saying I’m sorry and nodding my head. I offered to get a new meal for her as
well as speak to my manager to look into if there were any other services we could
provide for the next visit to be better. After speaking to the kitchen staff about making
the meal again I explained to my manager the situation. We decided that it would be
appropriate to give the customer a gift card to ensure they returned to the bar happier.
This example shows how I had to collaborate with others, communicate my problems,
and solve a problem at hand.
