career rather than a traditional 4 year college. What are some of the advantages and
disadvantages of enrolling in a trade school as opposed to a traditional college.

Essay

Not all high school graduates are college bound or want to go to college. Since this is
the case, many recent high school graduates are deciding to enroll in trade school. and
starting a career rather, than a traditional four year college. There are some advantages and
disadvantages of attending a trade school rather than a traditional college. The advantage of
attending trade school is price and time. The disadvantage is trade school does not help with
career advancement.

Every high school graduate cannot afford college or have the time to attend. Trade
schools offer a cheap affordable, hands on education as compared to a four college. Also, the
average trade school education takes on eighteen months to two years and during that time
span students gain paid experience. In a recent article published by Best Colleges in 2010
state that 30 out of 50 high school seniors would opt to go to trade school after graduation
because they are affordable and take less time to finish.

Trade schools do not prepare you for advancing in your career. College is where
students learn such skills as time management, decision making, and access to specialized
careers. Many people who have four year college degrees are promoted very quickly and, if
they choose a career outside their field of study. In a recent study conduction by the
University of California Berkley, 90 percent of company supervisors and executives have 4-
year college degrees or higher even if it is not in their chosen field.

In conclusion, many high school graduates opt to go to trade school because of price
and time. Trade schools offer an affordable time efficient option to start a career. However,
just attending trade school cannot help a person advance in this career and teach important
life skills learned in college to have options to advance or change a career. In the end the
student must figure out what is best for them.

This is the basic example of passing grade for the essay exam just as long as you follow this
particular sequence you will pass it will work for all three types of prompts. Also, try to leave
time for corrections and punctuation because that is an extra 1-2 points. It works for all three
types of prompts.
