,Evaluation of panning tables
I have created this planning tables in order to monitor my completion of work and the development of my progress throughout the
carrying out of my entire project. By creating this planning table at the begging of the project I intended to have an easy to access and
visualise distribution of the tasks necessary to complete my project. I have chosen to create this planning table in order to ease my
overall planning and because by creating an appropriate plan I will increase the chances of bringing my project in time for the deadline.
An advantage of creating a planning table is that it provides a picture of complexity. I really like charts, diagrams and tables because
they all provide an efficient visual representation of a goal, in this case planning my project. I tend to understand information more when
they are made in a way which can be processed visually and therefore the planning table I created will really help me throughout my
project. Another major advantage of creating a planning table is that it organises thoughts. By listing all the major commitments
necessary for the completion of my project ai am ensuring to record all my work while also allowing me to concentration about each
individual commitment. If I were to conduct my project without an initial planning I would certainly miss out some important aspects.
Creating a planning also serves the purpose of some sort of motivation booster, in the sense that by gradually ticking off each stage I
can visualise the work I already completed whilst also being conscious about what to do next. This in my opinion is very motivating.
Creating a planning table will also allow me to create a realistic representation of what I can carry out as part of my project. Creating a
plan will allow me to maintain high standards while also being realistic and admitting my flaws.
A significant disadvantage of this planning table is the level of detail I can include. The planning tables will be very useful, however, they
will not represent my only method of planning. In order to effectively plan my project I will also create a Diary Progress which will have
much more detail compared to these planning tables. They both serve the purpose of planning, however the planning tables are meant
to give an overall overview of the main tasks I will need to complete for my project,
