Information
• The sustainable development goals are
developed and adopted by all 193 member
states of the UN.
• A summit is held every few years to create or
track the progress of the goals. The final goals
were ratified in September 2015.
• Member countries share ideas and create goals
which everyone aims to achieve to make the
world more sustainable.

plan which is a continuation of the failed
millennium development goals.
