Moment Force x perpendicular distance from pivot

Principle of moments At equilibrium, the sum of the anticlockwise
moments about a point = the sum of the clockwise moments about the
same point.

Centre of gravity The single point at which an object's entire weight is
considered to act.

Displacement Displacement of B from A is the shortest distance from A
to B, along with the direction.

Instantaneous speed Rate of change of distance.

Instantaneous velocity Rate of change of displacement.

Instantaneous acceleration Rate of change of velocity.

Terminal velocity The maximum velocity of an object when the resistive
forces acting on it are equal and opposite to the accelerating force.

Force An external push or pull acting on a body.

Newton's 1st Law An object will remain at rest or in a state of uniform
motion if no external forces act upon it.

Newton's 2nd Law The rate of change of momentum of an object is
proportional to the resultant force acting upon it, and in the direction of
that force. (F = ma)

Newton's 3rd LawIf a body A exerts a force on a body B, then B exerts an
equal and opposite force on A.

Resultant force The vector sum of all forces acting on a object.

Momentum mass x velocity

Principle of conservation of momentum The vector sum of the
momentum before a collision is equal to the vector sum of the momentum
after the collision, provided there is no external force.

Elastic vs. Inelastic Collisions Elastic - No change in total KE

Inelastic - Loss of KE
