 Vit D eig verkeerde naam want is geen
vitamin
 Vit D maken we zelf + zit in voeding
 Gemaakt uit cholesterol oiv UV licht
 In lever omgezet
 In nier geactiveerd nr actief vit D
 Ca regulerend hormoon
 In veel lagere conc aanwezig dan vit D
 veel minder makkelijk te meten

,  Vit D zorgt dat:
o Meer Ca uit darmen opgenomen
o Meer fosfaat beschikbaar
o Ca & fosfaat knn w ingebouwd in bot
o  “mineralisatie”
 Wnr Ca in bloed daalt: PTH↑
o PTH wil Ca uit bot vrijmaken om bloedCa te verhogen
(= botresorptie)
o MAAR kan dit niet optimaal zonder vit D
o DUS vit D noodzakelijk vo adequate botresorptie oiv PTH
 Vit D doet dus beide: bot opbouwen & afbreken
 Ca in bloed op peil houden
