My essay argues that music is a powerful force that brings people together across cultures and generations. It explains how popular songs, from late 2000s classics to today’s chart-topping hits, create shared experiences and lasting memories. Through examples such as Messy, The Fate of Ophelia, Sports Car, and Azizam, the essay demonstrates music’s ability to strengthen friendships and promote unity.

I agree that music unites individuals through the creation of shared
sentiments and memorializing experiences across all ages and
cultures. Various music events provide the public with opportunities
to enjoy great music, singing songs together, and just to have fun
with music in the company of peers, making their relationships
stronger.

Music is a good time bridge for different generations as it creates
songs that unite people from different times. An example of this is
“Messy” by Lola Young which, due to its meaningful lyrics, has
become very famous. Likewise, the songs of the late 2000s such as
“Poker Face” by Lady Gaga or “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars
remain popular among many families and friends who gather
together on lots of occasions.

The same can be said about the currently popular songs as well. The
songs like Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia”, Tate McRae’s “Sports
Car”, and Ed Sheeran’s “Azizam” bring people together to sing,
swap playlists and attend concerts. These shared musical
experiences create stronger bonds between individuals from various
backgrounds.

To sum up, music is known as a universal language that connects
different people. It can be considered as all the way from the old
songs of the late 2000s to the modern grammy winners. Because of
these reasons, I think music is unifying force in the world.
