Multiple Marker Screening: triple screening done by 16-18 weeks

Chorionic = chromosomal anomalies
Trisomy 18 - Edwards
Trisomy 13- Patau (know what these are)
Trisomy 21 - Down syndrome
Know S/S for supine hypertension + interventions for this

Know vertical lie representation - the most optimal is LOA
LOA = if it's facing anterior
Know the amount of insulin (3rd is the highest need for insulin)
a. 1st trimester reduced insulin
b. The 2nd begins to rise
c. 3rd trimester - highest need for insulin
Gestational diabetes begins around 20 weeks | 1 hr glucose test fail if >130
Then we move to a 3 hr test
Blood testing for gestational diabetes (look over notebook chart)
Know medical history (if you’re immune or nonimmune to rubella)
