- Een conflict = een spanningsvel tussen twee mensen
- Tegenstrijdige belangen
- Spanning tussen twee menselijke neigingen:
o Assertiviteit: de wens om eigen doelen door te drukken, de opdracht
realiseren
o Coöperativiteit: de wens om de relatie goed te houden, om het proces sopel
te laten verlopen




- Haai
 Doordrukken: de haai ‘My way or the high way’
De meest assertieve persoon, hecht geen belang aan samenwerking of het WB van
de anderen, focust op doelen realiseren (kan positief/negatief zijn)
- Uil
 Samenwerken: de uil ‘Two heads are better than one’
Probeert relaties goed te houden maar ook doelen te bereiken, heeft een evenwicht
gevonden tussen eigen belangen en andermans belangen.
Jouw ideeën zijn goed en de mijne ook. We gaan ervoor zorgen dat we beide kunnen
gebruiken.

 Compromis sluiten: de kwal ‘Let’s make a deal’
Geen ruggegraat, berekende onderhandelaar, tegenpartij mag iets realiseren op
voorwaarde dat hij ook op enkele punten zijn zin krijgt.

 Vermijden: de schildpad ‘I’ll think about it tomorrow ’
Vermijdt conflicten, is niet geïnteresseerd in doelen bereiken, noch in de relatie met
de anderen.
