1. Analysis
Students: Young adults (18–21) who need help remembering tasks and moving to
activities on time.
The Goal: Use simple voice commands to put an event on the calendar
The Tool: Smartphone built-in voice assistants (Siri or Google Assistant) and the default
calendar/alarm sound.
2. Design & Development
Instructional Goals: Help my students understand time management with calendars (5
minutes) and smartphones for reminders using a voice assistant.
Preparation: Ensure all student phones have their voice assistants turned on (e.g., "Hey
Siri" or "Hey Google").
Materials: Smartphone, whiteboard, dry-erase marker, paper planners, and handouts
with instructions for time management techniques.
Length of lesson: 5 days (15–20 minutes of quick practice per day).
