Donning an Above knee prosthetic:
Sock:Different combinations to achieve correct fit, some patients may
use a silipos to add extra protection
Socket: Applied in standing to be able to achieve correct orientation
and fit, ischial tuberosity should be sat on the ridge of the socket.
Fit: Socks pulled over socket and correct orientation of foot achieved.
TES Belt: An elastic type of suspension used for TF amputees to
hold the prosthetic in place. TES belt goes around the waist
securely.
