family and individuals may find it difficult to get take part in some of the hobbies which they once enjoyed that involved mixing with

• Individuals may tire more easily and so may have less energy to engage in social activities. Some people with type 2 diabetes may
avoid social gathering so they can avoid drinking alcohol, which can have an adverse effect on their condition
