1. The first potential issue I chose to explore is robots and if they belong in the workplace to

replace humans. The two sides of this argument is simply yes and no. The side that says

yes believes that having robots replace humans will increase productivity, due to no

breaks or anyone needing days off. There would also be no call outs or “no-call, no-

shows”. They believe the products will come out more consistently, without any of the

common human errors. This side also believes it would be. beneficial because without

any training or development needed, it would save time, resources, and money. Although

all these points may be true the other side of the argument also makes good points. As a

student who is majoring in human resources and aspiring to be a human resource

specialist and manager, I believe that having robots in the workplace should never be

allowed in most fields or careers. although some jobs will open in the robotics field due

to the high demand it will leave humans who do not specialize in this field without jobs

in a lot of cases. Besides the companies who are making these robots, it will eradicate all

of the human resources departments and a lot of other companies. Depending on the field,

like a customer service field, it will take away from the face-to-face and hands-on

experiences that humans enjoy and carry every single day. it will also cost more

especially in the beginning and if it fails it'll all be for nothing. On the moral side of

things, very valuable and teachable lessons will be taken away without training and

development.

2. The second potential issue I chose to explore, falls under employee training and he

should be paying for the training. On one side of the argument, you have people who

believe it should change and employees should be paying employers when it comes to
