The most interesting thing about this company is that the founders are school drop outs
since they dropped out of college one after another. Aaron was the first one to drop and ventured
into the business which he successfully persuaded his four friends to drop out of school. The
most unusual part being his ability of convincing his friends to drop out of school and engage in
business together.
2. Will Arron be the next Bill Gates, Steve Jobs or Mark Zuckerberg? Or will he flame out
before Box can become profitable and really large?
In my opinion, I am not sure if Aaron is the next Bill Gates but he will definitely develop
and make Box a profitable enterprise since he possesses valuable and important characteristics
that is definitive of a resourceful entrepreneur. Some of this characteristics include his ability to
act fast and his charismatic skills. According to the case study it is clear that when Aaron has an
idea that is crucial to the business, he implements the idea quickly. This character ensures the
company that Aaron will not let go of any good opportunity and ideas. As an entrepreneur, it is
very important to stay focus and vigilant in grabbing every available opportunity since they are
fleeting. Aaron created this business idea while he was still in college when he decided to start a
business with the name Box.com, and he takes risks which he calls The Bix values. His
charismatic feature plays a vital role since he is very persuasive as an entrepreneur. This
charismatic character enables Aaron to attract many qualified and talented personnel and gathers
them together. The idea of dropping and convincing his friends to drop out school shows that
Aaron's persuasive approach made the company achieve what it currently has.
