Radiology Nursing is fortunately an area where most patients who are seen and treated are healthy, stable people and are only being seen on an outpatient basis. It is very infrequent that an emergent situation, such as code, arises based on our patient population. Although, code scenarios are few and far between, they have occurred, and due to our lack of occurrences in these situations, nursing confidence during codes, in our unit is very low. With that being states, I question whether mock code scenarios would improve nursing confidence.
