1.Adult CPR Pr ocess
Answ er Puberty & up.
Process;
1.Check for scene is safe.
2.PPE (personal protection equipment).
3.Tap Shoulder gently and determine if they are unresponsive to verbal, verbal
and touching, or just unresponsive.
4.Determine if they are breathing by checking chest.
5.Call ALS and get an AED if unresponsive and not breathing.
6.Check Carotid Pulse.
7.If NO Pulse- Compressions at least 2 inches deep, two handed (push hard and
fast 100 compressions per minute), (30:2 compressions per breath) for either 1 or
2 rescuers for 5 cycles = 2 minutes.
2.Child CPR Pr ocess
Answ er 1 year to puberty.
Check for scene safety, PPE, Tap shoulder for consciousness, ask "sir or ma'am can
you hear me", Determine if they are breathing, if not breathing and not

, responsive, shout and send someone for ALS and AED.
If witnessed the arrest- activate the emergency response system and get the AED,
use AED, begin CPR (5 cycles of 30/2).
If unwitnessed the arrest- Begin CPR (5 cycles or 2 minutes of 30/2), activate the
emergency response system, get the AED, and use the AED.
If NO pulse- Compressions of 2 inches deep, heel of one hand or two handed, push
hard and fast for 100 compressions per minute, (30/2 compressions per breath), 5
cycles or 2 minutes, 15/2 for 2 rescuers for 10 cycles = 2 minutes.
3.Infant CPR Pr ocedur es
Answ er 0-1 years old.
Check the scene for safety, PPE, Scrap foot gently and gently tap if unresponsive,
determine if they are breathing, if not breathing or unresponsive, shout and send for
ALS and AED.
If witnessed the arrest- activate the emergency response system and get the AED,
use AED, begin CPR (5 cycles of 30/2).
