You must have:
Two audio samples provided on the Pearson website.
•Instructions for Teachers
Recordings of the technology-based compositions must be submitted digitally
in the format detailed in the Administrative Support Guide found on the Pearson
website, along with the logbook and authentication form.
Each candidate submission must be presented separately.
• Centres must retain backup copies of all candidates’ technology-based
compositions and proprietary software files for the task.
• All assessment materials must be submitted by 15 May 2025.
Information for Candidates
• The total mark for this component is 60.
• The technology-based composition must be 2½ minutes long.

You must fulfil the requirement for the number of vocal, instrumental and
parts.
• Bounce/export the completed composition as a 16 bit/44.1kHz stereo
.wav file. Name it ‘8MT002_centre number_candidate number_name’ (e.g.
8MT002_12345_6789_BloggsJ).
