Exam Coverage
The exam coverage includes essential food safety principles assessed
in the Always Food Safe Course. It focuses on proper food handling,
personal hygiene, time and temperature control, cross-contamination
prevention, cleaning and sanitizing procedures, and safe food storage
practices. The exam also evaluates understanding of foodborne
illnesses, hazard control, workplace sanitation, and regulatory
compliance in food service operations. Emphasis is placed on
protecting public health, preventing contamination, and applying safe
food handling practices in restaurants, kitchens, and other foodservice
