Premature Junctional Complex
Overall an irregular rhythm. But, look for an underlying rhythm by covering up the ectopic beats. This rhythm has one
or more early beats. The p-wave of the early beat will be inverted (upside down) and the p wave may be seen before,
during (hidden within QRS) or after the QRS complex.
Junctional Escape Rhythm
A Heartbeat that comes from the AV site, not the SA node. The rate is between 40-60 bpm, inverted p-wave may be
seen before, during (hidden within QRS) or after the QRS complex.
