Capacitance is a fixed quantity that has a known mathematical relationship with charge, time and resistance. We will use this mathematical relationship to determine the capacitance. The relationship is: V(t) = V*(1-e^(t/RC)) Procedure: (edits in red) 1. Measure the resistance of the four resistors you have been provided with using a multimeter 2. You will use 6 combinations of resistors, starting from 10000 to 60000, in increments of 100000 kilo ohms. 3. Set up your RC circuit shown below. It is shown here above, taken from the previous lab. 4. Connect the circuit to the oscilloscope and the function generator, using two coaxial cables ( shown in image below) 5.
