Kelli Dunham, RN, received her BSN in 2000 from MCP-
Hahnemann University School of Nursing (now Drexel University) in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Before nursing school, Kelli worked as a hospice volunteer
among people with AIDS in Haiti, as a night manager at a shelter for
homeless women in Norristown, Pennsylvania, as a legal assistant and
translator for Florida Rural Legal Services, and as a caseworker for
Project H.O.M.E. In-Community in Philadelphia. She is currently work-
ing as a home visiting nurse in New York City and is also the coauthor
of the sequel to this book, How to Love Your Life as a Nurse.
She is a frequent speaker on the topic of humor and healing, and
performs stand-up comedy at clubs and colleges around the country.
