chest at a rate of 100-120 compressions per minute
Conventional CPR - ANS Provide compression and breaths
Giving CPR to an adult - ANS 1. Make sure the person is lying flat on his back on a firm, flat
surface
2. Quickly move clothes out of the way
3. Give 30 chest compressions
--Push straight down at least 2 inches
--Let chest recoil
4. After 30 compressions, give 2 breaths
Giving CPR to a child - ANS 1. Make sure the child is lying on his back on a firm, flat surface
2. Quickly move clothes out of the way
3. Give 30 chest compressions
--Use 1 or 2 hands to give compression
