Question 1a Critically analyse 3 individual founder characteristics that influence their business
ventures' success.

The entrepreneurs I have chosen to discuss their founding technological innovation and business
enterprises include David Karp, founder and former CEO of the short-form blogging platform
Tumblr, Mark Zuckerberg, and Eduardo Saverin Facebook founders and Jack Ma of the Alibaba
e-commerce company. These entrepreneurs possess various personality and leadership traits that
have influenced their business ventures' success. David Karp, the founding father of the favourite
app now, short-form blogging platform Tumblr left school before finishing his degree and
concentrated on developing web development sites. One feature that stands out on him is
passion. David Karp was passionate abort the creation and designing of product that would be a
result of his determination. This similar trait is also posed by Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo
Saverin, the Facebook founders, and Jack Ma of the Alibaba e-commerce company.

Mark Zuckerberg and Eduardo Saverin's passion for interaction and technology utilisation made
them innovate and developed the online interactive app. The convenience and affordability of the
Facebook app for adverts are based on these gentlemen's business and technological savviness.
Doing everything at the building to ensure the business is a success is another characteristic
shared among all entrepreneurs. Additionally, all these entrepreneurs are planners with designs
and plan to achieve their goals. They are ever on to look at new strategies on how to manage
their capital bad capitalise out of it to boost their business's confidence to a level they want it to.
Jack Ma particularly has been accredited to having a courageous attitude and remarkable talent
that has been able to boost its initially small business into a global in with multiple products and
services. This is a similar case of a visionary leader. Jack Ma's expansion into a multinational
technology conglomerate proposition establishes that he is a force to reckon based on his
motivation, visons, confidence, great decision-making traits, and personalised courage and
positive attitude towards investments and life achievements. "Entrepreneurs are naturally
motivated by their failures and visions for their better lives and business enterprises"
(Leithwood, et al., 2016, p. 76). For instance, David Karp, the founding father of the favourite
app right now, short-form blogging platform Tumblr left school before finishing his degree and
concentrated on development of web development site. He but was moved by his motivation and
curiosity into the technologically innovated web management and development to a level that he
developed his. Therefore, the traits that the three entrepreneurs share are risk tolerance,
persistence, comfortable with failure, and trial for success that forms the basis of structured
experimentation. All these are based on the personalised and enterprise traits of adaptability.

Additionally, there are also various factors that have influenced the success of the business
ventures that these three entrepreneurs funded. The success of Alibaba, for instance, is largely
stemmed from the innovative technologies and practices that the founder, Jack Ma, championed
for. This, therefore, means that one-off the factors that foster the success of a business venture is
great leadership styles. Jack Ma, for instance, is more considered by the quality of service and
products the customer gets rare than the competition. The key factors that have fostered the
