Descriptive Analytics tells you what happened in the past. Diagnostic Analytics helps you understand why something happened in the past.
Diagnostic analytics ask about the present. They drill down into why something has happened and helps users diagnose issues. Descriptive
analytics ask about the past. They want to know what has been happening to the business and how this is likely to affect future sales.

Normalization is the process of organizing data in a database. This includes creating tables and establishing relationships between those tables
according to rules designed both to protect the data and to make the database more flexible by eliminating redundancy and inconsistent
dependency.

ELT-a target data store powerful enough to transform data.
ETL-data that is fully processed before being loaded to the target data store.

  Rakrah 1 year, 6 months ago
ETL - Extract then Transform the Load - It always ensure apply all the transformation logic after extracting/bore loading into Target table. Target
table is ready to use the data for reporting/visualizations. My preference is "C"
upvoted 1 times

  KMLearn3 1 year, 7 months ago
Pretty similar to Qst#31 (ELT there). Here ETL.
It will be understandable if you take "transform" and "process" as equivalent.
And then yes, process/transform is before load.
And on ELT (Qst#31): yes, for transform/process the target needs capabilities for it.
upvoted 1 times

  KMLearn3 1 year, 7 months ago
Missleading because question is about "requires" (=prerequisite) and then the answer "fully processed before". Extraction belongs to processing
(ETL or ELT). So why should that have startet after "FULLY processed before"?

  JustMe84 2 years ago
The answer has to be C.
Microsoft trainer handbook describes ETL as raw data being retrieved and transformed before being saved. The book also states that ELT is data
stored before being transformed. Although the question is poorly articulated, I would choose C in this case.
upvoted 2 times

  TiTe123 2 years ago
I think this is a misleading question. Clearly it is not A or D. ETL process can be run in parallel to save time. While data is being extracted, a
transformation process could be working on data already received and prepare it for loading, and a loading process can begin working on the
prepared data, rather than waiting for the entire extraction process to complete. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/architecture/data-
guide/relational-data/etl). This suggests that C is also incorrect.
This leaves B. By the book, this would be correct for ELT but appears incorrect for ETL because the transformation process occurs in an isolated
specialized engine prior to loading. However, in reality, a lot of older ETL routines are actually ELT based on their infrastructure. Therefore, I would
be inclined to go for B.
Nonetheless another poorly chosen question though.

Correct Answer:

When to use batch processing.
You might expect latencies when using batch processing. For many situations, however, this type of delay before the transfer of data begins
is not a big issue - the processes that use this function are not mission critical at the exact moment.

Hi everyone! I just passed exam, my score is more then 900.
1. Exam 80-90% consisted from questions from this site.
2. Answers on this site for this questions are not always correct, and comments with answers are not always correct.
3. If you are reading in comments "I passed exam and this question was on exam, the answers is __ (gives you some answer)" - dont trust it blindly
They just tells their opinion about the answer. Because when you recieve you certification, your score, you do not recieve informations on what
questions exactly you answered right or wrong! You just know your score and your score on every section. You dont know the answer and you no
longer have access to question that you answered.
4) Everyone good luck! You can do it.

Transcribing audio files is an example of cognitive processing.

Cognitive processing involves understanding, interpreting, and deriving meaning from data. In the case of transcribing audio files, cognitive
processing algorithms are used to analyze and interpret the spoken words in the audio and convert them into text. This process requires
understanding the context, language, and nuances of human speech, which falls under the category of cognitive tasks.
