Asking candidates the same questions
❖Asking the same questions in an interview is very
important as it makes the candidates feel as they've
been treated fairly.
❖This also ensures that interviewer does not break
the equality act 2010.
The interviewer must make sure to ask the candidates the same questions so that it is easier
to compare everyone’s answers at the end and all the candidates will feel as if they’ve
been treated fairly. This also gives an accurate comparison and decision of which final
candidate they must recruit and who will be the most suitable for their company. For
example, if the interviewers had to choose between 8 people who have been asked the
question “ What can you bring to this business and why do you think we should choose
you”, it will be easier to compare their answers and see who is more productive for the
job and who will make more positive effect.
