History of Present Illness (HPI):
The patient is a 28-year-old adult who presents with a persistent cough and generalized fatigue
that began several days to weeks ago. The cough may be dry or intermittently productive and has
gradually worsened. The patient reports associated fatigue that interferes with daily activities.
Symptoms may be worse with exertion and partially relieved by rest. The patient denies chest
pain, hemoptysis, or syncope. Fever, chills, sore throat, or nasal congestion may be present
depending on the clinical scenario. No recent travel or known exposure to tuberculosis is
reported unless specified in the case.
Past Medical History (PMH):

• No history of asthma or COPD
