country.
Outbound Tourism When a tourist leaves his own country to visit another country outside the
borders of his own country, he is an outbound tourist.
Statistics Statistics help to identify travel patterns.
Passports International tourism is people who travel outside their country of residence,
crossing an international border with passport control. A passport is a
document issued by a national government for international travel and it
certifies the identity and nationality of the holder.
Visas A visa is an official document that allows the bearer to legally enter a foreign
country.
Franchise A franchise is a business whereby the owner licenses its operations—along
with its products, branding, and knowledge—in exchange for a franchise fee.

The private sector All the businesses are owned and managed by individuals of companies.
Businesses owned by private people.
The public sector The government owns the businesses – at national, provincial, regional, and
local levels.
