This document will cover topics that range from the central (brain & spinal cord) & peripheral (somatic & autonomic - sympathetic & parasympathetic) nervous systems, the primary brain divisions (prosencephalon, mesencephalon, rhombencephalon), hypothalamus & thalamus, internal capsule, basal ganglia, dopamine, parkinson's, huntington's, ascending & descending pathways, meninges.

This review sheet covers everything from the beginning of the semester to the midpoint (Lectures 1-5). The information will be based on the overview of phonological & articulation disorders, a brief overview of speech anatomy, the developmental theory (emergence of consonants & vowels), more theoretical foundations of speech sound development, and the assessment & appraisal of phonological disorders.

Class notes cover neuronal potential, action potential, intercellular communication, electrical & chemical activity of neurons, and more information on neurotransmitters. Images to go along with notes as well.
