This essay will discuss the different theories of communication and how to assess the role of effective communication and interpersonal skills in Health and Social Care with reference to theories of communication.

In this assignment I will be describing the different forms of verbal and non-verbal communication and the different needs, using examples from health and social care. I will be explaining the advantages and disadvantages of different forms of communication used, with reference to a one to one and on a group interaction. Lastly I will assess the effectiveness of different of different forms of communication for service users with different needs.
