A summary/notes of the Pre-masters course - Research Meth and Descriptive Statistics. I like learning using simple English and a lot of examples, which is how the notes are. I have used the book (Babbie, E (2021) The Practice of Social Research (15th edition), and Micro-lectures. Covers the most essential theories, models, and exam-relevant material, without unnecessary filler, which has been asked for me in my exams and assignments.

Short overview! This is a document containing a table with the different aetiology and treatment approaches to all disorders discussed in the chapters 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13 of Graham Davey's book. All points are discussed as short but complete as possible. Prevalence rates and pros and cons of approaches are discussed. For a more detailed description of the contents of the table, have a look at the summary I uploaded of these chapters.

This summary contains all you need to know from Davey's book for the first exam of P&P (chapter 1, 2.1, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 13). Bulletpoints from each chapter and section are described, important parts are highlighted and all DSM-5 criteria for all disorders are listed in tables. It includes the history of psychopathology, all approaches to the aetiology of the disorders and their accomodating treatments. Also, prevalences are included, as well as the effectiveness of treatments.
