(Murray’s theorie), zoals autonomie, dominantie, impulsiviteit en verandering. Reflecteert 20 van dit soort behoeften in 20 persoonlijkheidsschalen. Elke schaal 20 waar-onwaar items.

voortgekomen uit factoranalyse. Ontwikkeld om de grote dimensies van normale en abnormale [ersoonlijkheidsdimensies te meten. Drie dimensies na analyse: Psychoticisme, Extraversie en Neuroticisme. Lieg-schaal toegevoegd voor validiteit. Hoge score op P betekend agressieve en vijandige kenmerken. Hoge score op E betekend luide, gezellige en van plezier houdende kenmerken. Hoge score op N betekend
nerveus, slecht aangepast en overemotioneel gedrag. Betrouwbaarheid validiteit hoog. Zeer goed instrument voor zelfrapportage.

Test visuo-motorische integratie. Is non-verbaal. Geschikt voor testen van ontwikkelingsstoornissen. Je moet simpele vormen (streep, rondje, vierkant) natekenen. Je
test ook motoriek.

Meet aandacht en concentratie van kinderen en jongeren van 6 t/m 17 jaar. De test bestaat uit een blad met 33 regels van elk 24 stippelfiguren. De proefpersoon moet zo snel mogelijk, ononderbroken, bepaalde figuren doorstrepen. Zowel de snelheid als de nauwkeurigheid worden gemeten.

Meten vooral reactietijd en sensory discrimination als maatstaven voor intelligentie. Vb: lengte, knijpkracht, vingerlengte, longinhoud, etc. Dit waren dus simpele
tests van vroeger die wel objectief waren maar niet heel valide, want ze hadden lage correlaties met elkaar en met academische prestaties.
