This is a short critical reflection on education in colonial America. In this reflection, I briefly summarize the themes in education in that era, the pros and cons of the education provided in that period, the questions it poses, and the implications it has for teachers and people studying to be teachers. This critical reflection is most applicable to the course, Social Foundations of Education in the United States: Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
