Lurie compares himself to the dogs to understand social status. The event of him helping the dogs in a shelter coincides with the rediscovery of his identity. This essay provides a good example for beginners!

The ‘cultures of reading’, the way humanity engages with books and reading, of the Renaissance period in Marlowe’s Faustus is portrayed through the actions and thoughts of the tragic hero, who has a humanistic perspective. The way Faustus interprets literature and uses it in his daily life affects his life.
